What is your favourite local restaurant? Pizzeria Gusto - Great crust, interesting toppings, and I love the vibe.

Favourite local watering hole? Anywhere with friends or family works for me! Dinner and drinks is one of my favorite things to do!

Favourite thing about Winnipeg? I'm a loyal Winnipegger and love so many things about our city! No place is perfect and we have our issues, but I've seen a lot of places and I think we stack up well!

Favourite hidden gem for shopping or food? I seem to do a lot of shopping online these days! I enjoy going to Costco and walking down every aisle, which is why Jenn doesn't like me to go with her. D.A. Neils is a cool kitchen store if you're looking for that sort of stuff. For food shopping, Jenn also doesn't like me to go with her (same reason as above) but if I'm allowed, I like going to the old De Luca's - it's amazing how much stuff they can pack in one small space!

Where do you like to visit on weekends? Can't beat going to our family cottage...love spending time with all the sis/bro-in-laws, nieces/nephews, and Jenn's mom. I also like to wake up early at home and visit the sunroom with a coffee and the Winnipeg Free Press, with CBC playing in >the background. That's my typical Saturday morn vibe.

Favourite winter activity? Getting outside and enjoying the sunshine! Walking on the river, cross-country skiing at Breezy Bend, sitting around a campfire... dress appropriately and it's great!

Best beach to go to? My ability to sit on the beach is limited... We've had the pleasure ofgoing to Costa Rica a few times - sitting on the beach there didn't suck.

Favourite sports team? Winter - The Winnipeg Jets, Summer - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers...you had to ask?

What is your favourite local restaurant? Bar Accanto for a night out, or Edokko for a night in.

Favourite local watering hole? Solera (neat little speakeasy).

Favourite thing about Winnipeg? The people and the summers, and especially the people in the summer!

Favourite hidden gem for shopping or food? Farmer's Son Co. - hands down the best candles and the nicest owner!

Something you like to visit on the weekend? A local farmers market in the summer, or a brewery any time of year!

Favourite winter activity? Going out to eat/drink with friends, or staying in to cuddle with Boone Best beach to go to? Haven't visited any yet!

Favourite sports team? Would it be blasphemous to say a Toronto team? Go Leafs!

What is your favourite local restaurant? Tied between Pizzeria Gusto and Merchant Kitchen! Both are so good!

Favourite thing about Winnipeg? The fact that we are like a small town in a bigger city. It seems tha we are all linked somehow!

Favourite trip you have taken? We took our kids on a road trip out to Alberta to show them the Rockies, like I did as a kid growing up in BC. It was an amazing experience!

What is your favourite local restaurant? Hy’s Steakhouse.

Where is your favourite place to vacation? Fernando de Noronha, Brazil.

What is your favourite thing about Winnipeg? I love The Forks in every season!

Where do you like to visit on weekends? Any greenhouse.

Where is your favourite travel destination? Maui without a doubt!

What is your favourite summer activity? Camping / Being on the boat with my family.

What was the best concert you’ve been to? The best concert I have been to was to see Harry Styles at London Wembley Stadium. It was fantastic!

Favourite thing about Winnipeg? Assiniboine Park – our beautiful local gem!

Where would you choose to spend your vacation?? My top choice for a vacation destination would be the Maldives, in a water bungalow of course.

What is your favourite local restaurant? Kevin’s! It’s so quaint and the food is terrific.

Favourite thing about Winnipeg? There is always something to do with the people you love, and it only takes 30 minutes to get there even if you live on opposite ends of the city! There is always a place to enjoy live music, there are so many amazing restaurants, the parks are beautiful and it’s refreshing to enjoy all four seasons, including Winter (no bugs!).

Where would you choose to spend a vacation? I would never say no to any travel adventure, however, I prefer to relax on a tropical beach especially when it’s a frigid winter back at home.

What was the best concert you’ve been to? Coldplay. They will forever be my favourite band to see live. The day of my 5th time seeing Coldplay, I got engaged – that added to the amazing experience!

What is your favourite local restaurant? Solera.

Favourite thing about Winnipeg? Thermea, the friendly people, Patent 5 purple blossom gin.

What is one thing you’ll never do again? Go on a roller coaster.

Where would you choose to spend your vacation? Hawaii.

If you could have only one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Steak, potatoes, Caesar salad.

What is your favourite winter activity? Going for a walk with my family along the Seine River in the Bois-des-Esprit.

What was the best concert you’ve been to? Paul McCartney! I would go to this concert 100 times over.

Where would you choose to spend a vacation? Somewhere in Europe. Maybe I would go back to >Italy, there are so many beautiful places to see!

What is one movie everyone should watch? Christmas Vacation! Watch it with your family, learn all the lines and laugh at all the same jokes every year. It’s the best.

If you could have only one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Burgers! My husband and I love trying as many burgers as we can during Burger Week.

Have you ever met someone famous? I met Kim Kardashian when she wasn’t crazy famous yet. There were only two seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians out. My friends and I met her in Toronto. She had an event to celebrate her 30th birthday and we got pictures, an autograph, and some birthday cake!

What is your favourite local restaurant? Harth is my favourite restaurant in Winnipeg. If you like Italian food it’s the best place to go.

What has been the best concert you’ve ever been to? Taylor swift! I was lucky enough to go to Paris and see her on nights 2 and 4!

What is one thing you have too much of? I have way too many books. My dream is to have a big library in my house.
